Terms of Service - Argentum Camera App

By downloading, installing, or using the Argentum camera application ("Argentum" or "the App"), provided by 55th Street Ventures ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Argentum is a camera application that provides advanced photography features including live photo capabilities, portrait mode, depth effects, filters, and photo management tools.

Argentum grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for any purpose, including commercial use, subject to these Terms.

4.1 Photo Rights

• You retain all rights to photos taken using the App
• You may use photos taken with the App for any purpose, including commercial use
• You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from subjects in your photos

4.2 Prohibited Activities

• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract the source code of the App
• Using the App in any way that violates applicable laws
• Interfering with or disrupting the App's services
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App

5.1 In-App Purchases

• The App offers optional in-app purchases for filters and features
• All purchases and subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
• Pricing and availability of features may change without notice
• Refunds are handled through Apple's standard refund policies

5.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscription payments are processed by Apple
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings

6.1 Data Collection

• The App collects anonymous usage analytics
• No personal registration or account creation is required
• Photo metadata (including GPS location) is stored locally and with your photos
• No user data is sold to third parties

6.2 Photo Storage

• Photos are stored locally on your device and/or in your personal iCloud storage
• The App does not maintain separate cloud storage of your photos

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 55TH STREET VENTURES OR ARGENTUM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice and for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and 55th Street Ventures regarding the use of the App, superseding any prior agreements between you and 55th Street Ventures.
